Sara was my first saluki and she taught me all the wicked and wonderful ways a saluki uses to run your life. She was beautiful, demanding and so very sure she was the most perfect saluki on earth. Who was I to tell her differently? She is the beginning of Sterling Salukis.

Rajah was my heart dog. Despite nearly destroying my house when he was a youngster he could do no wrong in my eyes. He and I were soul mates. He was a true gentleman and a faithful guardian to me.

Daisy was our first Sterling Champion. She had a larger than life personality. She was wild and goofy and playful and fun. She was my husband's heart dog. She finished her Championship easily and won group placements without any adverstising. She definately had a mind of her own. She always believed she was exempt from the rule, no dogs in the front of the house, so she always jumped the gate to stay up front.

Plum marched to her own drummer! I bought her to breed to one of my Sterling boys however, I was never able to get her bred. Instead, she was the Nanny for all the Sterling litters. Despite hating to show, Plum finished easily winning back to back 5 point majors at the TSE at Cobo Hall when she was just 10 months old. Her next show was the Nationals when she was just over 2. She placed 2nd in a very large Open bitch class. She went on to finish at her next show by grabbing the 4 point major under breeder/judge Eugene Blake. At six years old I made her come out of retirement for the HVSC Specialty and she won Specialty Best of Opposite Sex.
Samba is the Pefect Princess of Sterling. Everything she's been asked to do she does with haughty grace and style. There is one time that Samba sheds the haughty and that is with the children she reads with during her therapy dog sojourns. For them she is an attentive and compassionate listener.
The party girl! Anna is charming, entertaining and fun to be with. She has taken a backseat to brother, Chopin but when I finally got around to seriously showing her she won 4 majors in style to finish, all under sighthound judges.
